This species is known to weave materials together to form a nest, such as leaves and twigs etc. Best kept in a natural terraium they eat both proteins and sugars. Not to be confused with the famous “Oecophylla” who weave leaves together, these are much easier to keep species but still has fascinating behaviours. They can bite and produce formic acid though.
